Really looking forward to the fight tonight (tomorrow morning), and the bookies in the UK must be preying that the brash Mayweather does them a favour. Personally I rate the fight a coin flip, how the British bookies especially make the American a 1/2 favourite is beyond comprehension. Hatton has prepared for this fight like no other and he does tend to save his best FOR the best and Mayweather definitely fits into that category.
90% of the money in this country has gone on Hatton, and William Hills claim Hatton will be the heaviest-backed British individual sportsman ever when he steps in the ring, and expect £25m to be gambled on the fight. They also reckon that if Hatton wins tonight, and follows that up by scooping the BBC Personality of the Year (which he will if he wins), they will face their biggest payout since the legendenary Frankie Dettori Ascot Magnificant Seven in '96.
I won't be betting, although I've no doubt Ricky will do this country proud and show the cocky American media what a true champion he is.
