Stayed away from the Cup games as advised by the Betfair Loser, probably a good idea because my current record in Cup games (excluding CL Group Stage) is 2 from 4. Just hoping that a fresh Rangers team will blow away Dundee with a comfortable win. If not, I may just pack it in whilst I'm still up..............
Running balance: £1,172.31
Post script: Very happy, especially in the context of how the FA Cup games went today. I spoke the other day of thinking of backing either Rangers, Norwich, Chelsea or Everton. Amazingly Everton lost to Oldham (after being backed to win the FA Cup outright in the Racing Post) and Norwich needed an 80th minute leveller to get a replay with Bury.
Will avoid making any further bets until I have next weeks prices in hand (Wednesday / Thursday the coupons come out). All I need is one weekend winner from now until the end of the month (3 further weekends in Jan) to get comfortably in the black.

Good read. Best of Luck.
Have you considered the HT/FT bet for teams long odds on?
If theyre gonna win its usually over by HT.

Thanks for your comments Tony, I have had added your blog to my links. Regarding your HT/FT tip, looking at my 23 winners to date, I think 14 would have come in a HT/FT winners. What sort of price difference is there?
Regards
Simon
Hi Simon
Just looking at a couple on odds checker you can see it could be a lot more profitable if you have a high strike rate at picking certainties. I have a friend who does very well with this approach.
For instance Chelsea to beat Qpr are 1/4 but as high as 4/5 for ht/ft. Rangers are 4/6.
Just an idea to play around with, have a look on oddschecker, hope it helps. Good luck
