Bet 5: £100 LIVERPOOL to beat Bolton @ 3/10

Whilst Bolton obtained a very creditable win against Manchester Utd last week, I can't see them getting anything from Anfield. They are missing the work horse Nolan through suspension, and I can see them sticking 11 men behind the ball and going for the 0-0. An early goal from the Reds should result in a comfortable win.

Running balance: £1,131.51

Post script: Very, very comfortable victory by the Reds today, quite the opposite from the tough, hard fought Chelsea win yesterday. As I predicted the early Liverpool goal meant Bolton had to come out and play, something for which Gary Megson and Bolton aren't exactly renouned for.

That result leaves me over £130 in profit, a defeat today would have wiped out all my gains to date, and left me with a only £1.51 surplus for over a weeks worth of work. That would have been a bit hard to take, and I can move forward with a bit more in reserve.
