All of us (gamblers) have the urge when taking a loss to go back for more. Especially when its a last minute, gut wrenching equaliser, when we SHOULD have won. The Gods owe us, we must get that money back...............
The rest is a foregone conclusion, and its the bookies that are laughing at such mugs. The Internet especially, makes it so easy to deposit more and more, chasing those losses, trying to get back to something close to break even.
That's why I will only bet with cash, and only at my local William Hills. If I ever got the urge to chase, I'd have to make a 30 minute journey at least, where I would have cleared my thoughts and seen reason. Other gamblers aren't so lucky.
